Stress-Relief

Everyone seems to be concerned about their health these days (and Facebook), including this writer, although I am becoming convinced that these thoughts only stems from aging, meaning: those medical problems that are beginning to beset our (and my) contemporaries are only a sign that: a) I am really getting old (as opposed to growing old which, is another story); b) old age is automatically equal to wear and tear, thus the simple equation being – AGE=WEAR & TEAR. Or, well at least something to that effect.

Therefore, I have succumbed to taking at least five different kinds of drugs daily; as opposed to just one during college (the herbal type). They are the following:

1) Vitamin C
2) Multi-vitamins
3) Cholesterol Off (brand)
4) Aspirin
5) Garlic capsules

This is why besides sitting on the couch all day watching cable TV sipping light beer on day-offs (and/or after a long tiring day at the office when toxicity levels shoot up), while roasting some zesty marinated pork or a large chicken on the turbo, I spend some time with kids one-fourth my age. That’s how old I am I guess – I mean, do the math there with the pretext that, when I say kids, they ought to be somewhere between 7 and 8.

Anyway, something rewarding happens when you talk to kids. In my case, I apply what I usually did in the past as a journalist whenever I do talk to kids. I always ask them a lot of stuff. Basically of which are the basics: how they feel, who their favourite superhero is, favourite cartoon character, etc…Stuff they learn, from TV. It all adjourns right about the time I advice them to read books instead.

There is something unique with kids nowadays; otherwise we won’t be amused by them the way people used to. The fact that they learn something where you get surprised how they did prove that we may not have the same when we were kids ourselves. This brings me to subject A – Didiboy. It is a name of a kid; a kid who can prove that doing many things simultaneously can be possible after all. In a way different, of course, sort of like fifty things at the same time, giving a whole new meaning to the word multi-tasking – and leave a path of destruction inside the house.

Be that however, one way or the other, with the entire tech stuff around, what do we expect? That is why there are times when I spend the whole day myself in front of the computer playing Simcity4 and Grand Theft Auto. I mean, if you can’t beat ‘em – join ‘em.

  2. X = KARL’s AGE (?)

    Y = KIDS AGE BETWEEN 7 & 8
    Y = 7.5

    Z = 1/4 of X (given 1/4 = .25)
    Z = .25 divide by 100%
    Z = 4

    X = Y x Z
    X = 7.5 x 4
    X = 30

    CHECK: 30/1 x 1/4 = 30/4 = 7.5

    Karl is 30 - 3 (Birthday Boy Discount) = 27

    Karl Betita is presently, honestly & actually yun na yon is 27 yrs. old...
