Speaker Jose de Venecia must really be drunk with power.
Let me do that again: Speaker Jose de Venecia IS drunk with power. Along with the majority of the so-called "representatives" at the House, they have developed an unimaginable--if not insatiable--greed for power unprecedented in the history of Philippine politics. They have been blinded, devoid of reality and oblivious to sobriety. They have forgotten that the very people whom they are mocking are the ones who need their help most: people who gave them the mandate so as to act as statesmen, those who are especially in dire need of help like the recent thousands or so victims of mudslides in the Bicol region.
They have served Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo well; like Jesus was to the Catholic Church many years after his death and resurection. I wish I was one of those shouting at the gallery in the House the other day, hollering I'm one of the taxpayers who pay for these guys' salaries after one of the congressmen ordered them to shut-up. Not only that, they wantonly spend the taxes I pay for all the luxury money can buy.
I wonder what their own kids say and think of them; do they even bother to know the real reason why their parents act the way they do? Maybe they do, maybe they don't. But I guess it's a useless effort on their part.
I don't and will never believe in hell, but there are times when I wish there was one. My God, they are beginning to act as though they're packs of wolves preying on some, well, prey. There must be something in what they eat at posh country clubs that make them think differently these so-called "representatives," food that I wouldn't dare eat.
Anyway, there will be a day of reckoning, and it may happen sooner than we all think. As Filipinos, let us not be cowered in fear once more and let us stand for our right. We should all be one in being against the Constitutional Assembly these CONmen and ASSholes are planning to convene: as then as of today, they only think about their own survival while we toil our butts off just to earn a decent peso. For my sake, I will never allow another Marcos-esque style of governance. I grew up knowing only one president, and I will never allow my son to experience the same. What a shame this country has become!
Those so-called "representatives" should cut the crap and stop all the nonsense. Everyone's tired already, so give it a break and just stop. Do they know that there is a God out there who is watching? They have made us sink even deeper in a lake of shit.
Crooks.
Greedy crooks.

Happy New Year!!!!
Why the philippine govt transferring convicted rapist American marine L/Cpl Daniel Smith from the Makati City Jail to the United States (US) embassy in Manila. He should be punished and severed jail time before the govt transefers him to the US. What a joke!!!!
